Mercedes Benz Audio Gateway

If you are installing COMAND-APS (with navigation DVD in boot/trunk) in the E/CLS/SLK/Maybach you will need a dual tuner Audio Gateway.

The Audio Gateway contains the Amplifier, Radio Tuner(s), Fibre optic bus controller and Diagnostic interfaces.

COMAND-APS needs the Dual Tuner version in order to be able to tune into the FM station transmitting traffic information so that Dynamic TMC routing works properly during navigation.

If your car has the Audio-20-CD, it will not have an AGW, if it has the Audio-50 it may have a single or dual tuner, or Audio-20-Casette it will have a single tuner AGW (so will still need replacing).

This is not suitable for cars with Harmon Kardon sound system.
